Born in New Orleans, LA, D. M. Bourgeois now resides in Crown Point, Louisiana, with her husband, Glenn. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, Louisiana, where she graduated Cum Laude in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in English and Humanities. 

Bourgeois loves to read and is a member of several book clubs. She enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She is currently writing her second novel.
